Moving to Be A Missionary Far, Far Away

Dear God,

I was reading this web site called Christian Odyssey, and they had a web page about how to tell if a person has really been genuinely called by you to go do missionary work. One of the things that they said was that, “One of the reasons we crave to do something ‘great’ for God is that we are unsure of how we stand with him, and we hope that if we do something ‘great’ like move to a faraway corner of the earth and be a missionary, God will like us more and we can feel better about our relationship with him.”

Is it true, God? Do you really like people just fine as they are, or do you like us better if we do something ‘great’ and move to a faraway corner of the earth?

    Dear God,

    Are you any good at algebra? I only ask because it is all about unknowns, and I guess they must be pretty unfamiliar to you.

    Hey Stan,
    II believe that that can be one of the reasons, to think that God will love us more if we do great things for Him. But the thing is he doesn’t need us to do great things FOR HIM.

    He is God, and we should come to Him just as we are. God loves us just the way He made us. All we need is a child like faith, and He knows what to do, how to do it.

    My life has been an encounter, having tons of things in life happen, so I can testify that God is ready for any of your crazy ideas, whatever it is that you want to do for Him, He is most pleased for you to give yourself to Him, as a living sacrifice, worshipping Him through everything you do in life, every second in life.

    I want to be a missionary too! There’s nothing wrong dreaming big. See how big and great He is, nothing is that big in His eyes. Just remember to self check once in a while that we are on the right track, in the right position.
